Richard Sabin

Managing Director

Richard is our main man! After spending 15 years building green infrastructure specialist Biotecture, he launched Growing Revolution in 2019 to bring affordable living walls to the masses. His engineering background and industry knowledge helped him develop PlantBloxTM our cleverly simple living
wall system.

When Richard isn’t trying to save the planet, he enjoys making bad jokes and playing the folk harp
(quite well actually!)

Matt Lindsay

Director and General Manager

It would probably be easier to start by saying what Matt isn’t involved in—you name it, he’s a part of it! From sales to marketing, operations to logistics, business development to account management, Matt is our main driving force in reconnecting people with nature. He is our all-rounder, the Growing Revolution glue, the PlantBlox pilot…

Matt was selected by ProLandscaper as one of the 30 under 30 landscape and horticulture professionals in 2020. He also completed the UK Green Building Council’s prestigious Future Leaders Programme.

Karen

Sales Administrator

Karen is our newest member of the team. She is the first port of call when you pick up the phone. She is super friendly, has a great sense of humour and is ready to talk you through any queries or resolve any issues. She also has a construction background so loves getting to grips with some of our more
complicated quotations!

Jess

Marketing

Jess is our marketing whizz, and works mainly with our trade partners, though she manages to work her creative magic into a bit of everything we do!

It would be fair to say Jess is fern-atic. She is currently creating a fernery in her garden to fill a shady spot, and her bathroom is a fern haven. “I love British ferns because there are so many different varieties, and you can use them inside and out.”

Claudiu

Warehouse Manager

Claudiu is custodian of our shiny new HQ in Chichester. Claudiu is responsible for packing and shipping orders, and all the other things that ensure each day runs smoothly. He is our racker, packer & stacker and is faultless on a forklift passing with 100%. The instructor said he’d never seen anything like Claudiu and neither have we!

Claudiu’s favourite plant is called Pink Princess Philodendron, “The colours are superb. Each leaf can form a unique pattern. I bought one 3 years ago and it’s still as beautiful as the first day. I even managed to get cuttings and give them to friends and family.”
